Join our engineering team as a Mechanical Technician, where you will play a key part in the assembly, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced MESH Modular Helipad systems. As part of our team in Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment that is both workshop-based and requires travel to various client locations for on-site installations. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you will be instrumental in assembling steel frames and modular systems, including Deck Integrated Fire Fighting (DIFF) equipment, and ensuring all mechanical systems are installed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble and install steel structural frames and plate decking for modular helipad systems.
Fit, assemble, and install modular Deck Integrated Fire Fighting (DIFF) systems, including pumps and small-bore piping.
Handle plumbing, drainage, and tank installation, ensuring all associated equipment is functioning to specification.
Read and interpret fabrication and installation drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
Coordinate with engineering and client teams for on-site and workshop-based tasks.
Prepare and maintain installation progress logs and reports using basic IT tools.
Travel to client sites (across UAE, KSA, and internationally) as required by project schedules.
Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout all phases of work.
Must have requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or relevant technical discipline.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical assembly, installation, or fabrication roles.
Proven practical and mechanical aptitude; confident working with tools, bolts, and fittings.
Experience working with steel structural frames and industrial components.
Ability to read/interpret fabrication and installation drawings.
Native-level English proficiency (CEFR C1/C2 or equivalent) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physically fit, able to travel and work at client sites both locally and internationally.
Team player with strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Basic IT competency for recording work progress and compiling reports.
Strong level of English

Previous experience with modular helipad or aviation-related infrastructure.
Practical knowledge of pumps, small-bore piping, plumbing systems, and fire fighting equipment.
Hands-on experience with DIFF or similar systems in industrial settings.
Valid UAE driving license.
Familiarity with quality and HSE standards in an industrial environment.
